About

A collection of projects that I crochet and knit, and any other craft that I might try.

At the moment, it’s all accessories and baby layettes.  They’re small, portable, and the patterns are easy enough to pick up again.

As the title of the blog suggests, I feel like I’m coloring with the yarn I’m working with, and creating a piece of art at the end.  Whether it’s working with solid colors or variegated yarn, the project takes shape as it works up to completion.  And because I don’t have much time to work on complex patterns and designs, I make up for it by working with the colors instead.

Just like with any other crocheter or knitter, I have a stash of yarn collected over the years.  I look at the stash from time to time and while looking at the colours and textures, I get  inspired or have an idea, and my fingers itch to start working on a project.  And there’s so many gorgeous colors coming out now.  I’m sure I won’t be able to use up all that yarn any time soon, but it’ll be fun trying to.

Hope you enjoy looking through the blog, and come and visit again.

And when I’m not working on these, I’m taking pictures and writing about other random things in the other blog … A Little Bit of This and That.   Check it out …

  1. Is there any chance of a tutorial on the long panels of triangle. U ran out of aurora yarn with it. I really want to know how that was assembled or stitched. Thanks!

    • Hi – I wrote out the basics for the triangle panels in the comments section of the post. But you’re right – perhaps a whole post tutorial on that would be better. I’ll work on that and post soon, but in the meantime, go to the post and scroll down the comments. Thanks so much!
